  • Bellarmine College Golf Course, 2000 Norris Pl, Louisville, KY 40205, (502)452-8378, semi-private. This small par 3 course is located on a liberal arts campus. The medium to fast greens have sharp breaks, but are well watered and can hold a shot.
  • Charlie Vettiner Golf Course, 10207 Mary Dell Ln, Jeffersontown, KY 40299, (502)267-9958, public. This course was built on rolling terrain and has a creek that comes into play on seven holes. There are also numerous sand bunkers sprinkled throughout the course.
  • Iroquois Golf Course, 1501 Rundill Rd, Louisville, KY 40214, (502)363-9520, public. This hilly course is lined by large oak and pine trees. The back nine was redesigned in 1965. This course has eight bunkers that come into play throughout the course. The signature hole is #8, a 414-yard, par 4.
  • Pennsylvania Run Golf Course, 12900 Christman Rd, Louisville, KY 40229, (502)957-5940, public. The fairways on this course's front nine are open, and the back nine has tight fairways situated on hilly terrain. There are water hazards that come into play on several holes.
  • Quail Chase Golf Club (pictured), 7000 Cooper Chapel Rd, Louisville, KY 40229, (502)239-2110, public. This club has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. These courses have water hazards and many trees.
  • Seneca Golf Course, 2300 Peewee Reese Rd, Louisville, KY 40205, (502)458-9298, public. This course is fairly hard because of the new sand bunkers. The T. C. Jordan Tour is held here every June.
